Winter Solstice Regular Meeting - Official Visit of the DDGM

  • Bath Masonic Hall 428 Main Street Bath Bath, ON, K0H 1G0 Canada (map)

An Evening of Light, Fellowship, and Fraternal Renewal

As the year draws to its longest night and the Winter Solstice marks the turning of the seasons, Templum Fidelis Lodge invites its Brethren to gather for a regular meeting devoted to reflection, fellowship, and the enduring symbolism of light emerging from darkness.

We are honoured to welcome Right Worshipful Brother Daniel J. Kennedy, District Deputy Grand Master, on his official visit to our Lodge. His presence offers an opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to the principles of Freemasonry, the continued improvement of our Brethren, and the preservation of our Masonic traditions.

The evening will feature a presentation by Brother Zach Powell, who will share his experiences as an Entered Apprentice Mason. Through his reflections on this first degree of Freemasonry, we will have an opportunity to consider the lessons, discoveries, and personal growth that accompany the beginning of one's Masonic journey. His presentation will invite us to reflect upon the importance of approaching the Craft with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

We will also celebrate a significant milestone in the life of our Lodge as we congratulate Brother Ryan Dinsmore, who was recently raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason at an emergent meeting held prior to this gathering. We extend our warmest fraternal congratulations to Brother Ryan as he reaches this important stage in his Masonic journey and takes his place among the Master Masons of the Craft.

Following the Tyled meeting, Brethren will gather for a formal Agape, providing an opportunity to continue the evening in fraternal fellowship. In keeping with the spirit of the Winter Solstice, this shared observance will offer a fitting occasion to reflect upon the bonds that unite us, the light we seek through our Masonic labours, and the renewal that comes with the turning of the seasons.

Brethren are warmly encouraged to join us for this meaningful occasion as we welcome our distinguished visitor, hear a Brother's reflections on his early Masonic experience, celebrate a Brother's advancement, and gather in the enduring bonds of brotherhood.

As the darkness reaches its fullness, may we be reminded that the pursuit of light is never complete, and that each step upon the Masonic path offers another opportunity for growth, understanding, and renewal.
