September 18th Meeting Preview
Templum Fidelis is pleased to announce an exciting evening of Masonry on September 18th. Our Brother Jan Kahlen will be presenting a paper in Lodge in preparation for being passed to the Fellowcraft Degree and Brother Mark Elkins will be proving his proficiency in the Entered Apprentice Degree in hopes of being passed to the Second Degree that afternoon.
On behalf of the Worshipful Master, we are very pleased to announce the guest speaker at the agape will be Worshipful Brother Mark Tabbert 33°. Worshipful Brother Tabbert is a well known American Masonic lecturer, author and historian as well as being the Director of Collections at The George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia and the Curator of Masonic and Fraternal Collections for the Scottish Rite National Heritage Museum in Lexington, Massachusettes. We look forward to welcoming him and sharing a very informative and rewarding evening.
Our agape will feature the menu below prepared by Chef Clark Day for the Kingston Banquet and Convention Centre.
Salad: Patchwork Gardens Romaine, Anchovy Dijon Dressing, Christoph’s Mushroom Duxelle Crostini, Duck Proscuitto, Shaved Gran Padano
Appetizer: Crispy Pork Belly with County vegetable slaw (corn,tomato,potato,fennel,carrot,peas)
Main: Grilled striploin with county garlic and pea smashed potato, roasted cherryvale beets, brendini sauce.
Dessert: Red wine poached pear tart with crème anglaise
The cost of the evening is $75 and reservations must be made by Tuesday, September 14th.
